In this edition, we share key updates from InsTech.ie including EY joining as our new Innovation Partner, the launch of the Transformation Summit, a new Head of Innovation, and the Foundry cohort gearing up for its finale in April. Foundry Finale – April 17
Our first Foundry cohort is gearing up for its finale, taking place on 17 April at KPMG Platform X.
The Foundry, Ireland’s first insurance-focused accelerator, has supported early-stage insurtechs in validating and refining their solutions through direct industry collaboration. The finale will showcase 10 startups as they present their progress and next steps, alongside opportunities to connect with founders, mentors and industry leaders.

Registrations are now open for the InsTech.ie Transformation Summit, taking place on 11 June at Odeon Point Village, Dublin.
This year’s programme brings together senior leaders across insurance to focus on what it takes to move from AI experimentation to scaled, intelligent operations across underwriting, claims and customer engagement.
Attendance is complimentary for insurers, reinsurers and brokers, supported by our Platinum Partner, EIS. A limited number of passes are also available for early-stage insurtechs, with General Admission open to all other attendees.
Ireland’s insurance sector is at an inflection point across AI, operating models, regulation and growth. InsTech.ie, in partnership with Guidewire, is conducting an executive survey to capture where the industry stands today and what will define success over the next 3–5 years.
This 10–12 minute survey explores priorities across AI, data, talent and regulation. All responses are confidential and shared only in aggregate.

Lloyd’s Lab seeks mentors for Cohort 16 with Irish focus
Lloyd’s Lab is inviting mentors from the Irish ecosystem to support Cohort 16, which includes four companies aligned to Ireland’s strategic priorities: ITUS Protect, Plain Site, Resilico and Exona Lab. As insurance enters a new phase of AI-driven transformation, the real challenge is how organisations adapt from culture and capability to how people work alongside intelligent systems. Lollie will work closely with insurers and partners to support this journey and help translate transformation into practical outcomes.
